you used to rock me

I get $300 today aside from my normal payment.

That makes it $360 in my bank account that I cannot touch at all. Even if something terrible happened and I needed to use that money, it's staying in there regardless.

I think that I may now be regretting my $260 digial camera purchase.

Let's do some math! Fun!

I have $360 in the bank, I will receive another $300 in November making it $660.

My car registration is $460, and my car insurance is $220 (well, maybe, I'm leaving RACT when it runs out and going with a different company who will actually cover me for fire and theft, the only reason I want insurance anyway)...both due in the same month.

That's $680.

But have no fear.

As of November I will not be driving to the Uni everyday, therefore probably saving myself a whole lot of money since the Uni is 20kms from my house.

Let's just say that I can save $80 a month...it is possible.

With the 3 months that I have off, that means that I can save an extra $240.

But wait!

I have next years Uni fees to pay for, and I need to buy books as well. Plus there is Christmas and Scott's birthday.

Oh the joy.

Seriously, I need to get a job otherwise I am screwed.

I wish I didn't tell my Dad not to bother getting me anything for my birthday.

But on a happier note we finally got our gas heater installed yesterday.

I like it. It has a remote which is very cool.

But the price of gas has gone up quite a bit when my Nan had it installed.

One bottle is around $80-90. That's quite a lot more than I can really afford at the moment. I have the application form for BOC Gases on my table but I don't think I'll be filling it out just yet.

So after all of that I decide to go on down to Roberts to find out what the hell is going on with our other stuff.

Insulation will apparently be a little while away, our owner has not decided what he wants yet.

But the locksmith has been slack so she called him when I left the office, and I had a call from him about a minute later.

He would come around that afternoon. At 5:30pm he shows up. That's not afternoon, that's evening in my books. But at least he cleaned up his mess unlike the gas guy who has left plaster on my carpet.

I suppose I can't really complain, we aren't paying for any of this.

Free stuff rocks.
