there's always a joker in the pack
In my Media class at the start of the year we heard little whispers of Southern Cross losing it's rights to host both Channel 7 and Channel 10 programs. That finally, after all of these years, Tasmanian residents would get to have Channel 7 and Channel 10 as seperate channels.
I never thought that it would really happen, and if it did it would be probably 1-2 years away.
Today I was browsing through the Careers section of the paper when I came across the following ad.
Tas Tv will soon commence telecasting the State's third commercial television service and are looking for the right person to build this new business from the ground up.
It's really happening! My little state is finally catching up with the rest of the country.
I'm so proud.
No longer will we have to complain about Southern Cross's poorly chosen program schedule.
I guess there is one good thing about being unemployed...you can find out amazing things while searching through the ads.
The world is a wonderful place.
Scott's out and about this evening, well he's not really "about", he's at the pub with a co-worker watching the football.
It is my responsibility to pick him up tonight, and while I don't mind I've suddenly become really sleepy.
He just called to check in and see how I am. So cute.
I'm really looking forward to seeing my Mum and my Nan in a couple of weeks. I have this intense need for family around me at the moment, but until I get to see them these donuts shall have to do.
