you can find my heart in the lost and found
My savings have somehow gone from being $730 to being $589. Sure I have some new clothes, shoes and a new watch but damn!
And I finally got around to taking my car in for it's free check up today and received the bad news that my rear tyres are only just above the illegal stage and that I'll need new ones pretty soon.
Another $116 that I'll have to find from somewhere.
I went back into Zamels today to pick up all the forms I have to fill out and also got my loupe.
Now, a loupe is this tiny little magnifying glass that I have to wear around my neck on a tacky gold chain every day. Actually, I can't really call it a chain since it's not made of metal...but still. And you know how much I have to pay for something so tiny?
Forteen dollars.
I think I'd be more upset if the loupe wasn't actually kind of cool. I also got introduced the the lady that I'll be working with who surprisingly is really nice and laid back.
Things are looking up I guess.
Oh! And I get to have superannuation now which makes me feel old and mature, and I won't be earning enough for them to start taking money out of my wages to pay back my Uni debt.
Heh...I feel so grown up at this very moment that it's somewhat scary.
Ooohh...I'm reading through the Zamel's book and "all employees are entitled to a discount on all our jewellery, watches and repairs".
Maybe this job won't be too bad after all.
