each time i hear about the hand you've been dealt
During the week I received some mail from the International Fund for Animal Welfare. I have apparently given these people money in the past...I find this extremely doubtful. We all know how cheap I am and that I wouldn't just give money to people. But they say that I have so I suppose I'll believe them.
Anyway, it was a lovely letter filled with images of kittens who had been abused and stories of them being boiled alive in Korea.
Does the IFAW really think that they can get to me with this kind of stuff?
Damn straight they can.
I was sucked in and was so disgusted about the treatment of kittens in other countries. Kittens are meant to be cherished and loved, not boiled alive or have their heads smashed in with hammers.
Seriously, I was nearly brought to tears over this letter. I nearly sent them money. But the fact remains that I am cheap.
I love the kitties, I want to save the kitties, but I want to be able to pay my rent more.
Haha, I keep looking at the photos and it's making me want to give them stuff. I need to get rid of this letter before I give these people my car or something.
I think I've just discovered that the way to my heart is through kittens.
