my lucky star
Today while I was walking my neighbours pulled over to the side of the road and asked me if I needed a lift anywhere.
I didn't, but it was so sweet of them to ask anyway. I'm so pleased that they've moved in, reminds me of my old neighbours back in Launceston.
I watched The Muppet Movie before heading off to my class, not as cool as I remember it, but still cool anyway.
I always get to my Asian Studies tutorial early and usually sit down in the room and read the paper. Today another person arrived there early and he greeted me with a hello and asked me how I was.
Crazy. This rarely ever happens at Uni, but I replied with an excellent and asked him how he was.
He was apparently also good.
I thought that it was the end of that, that we'd go on about our own business but then he offers me a butterscotch lolly out of no where.
This is great. Anyone who offers strangers butterscotch lollies is a damn fine person in my books.
So we talk, I enjoy my lolly and BAM! instant new friend.
Yay!
New friends rock. I think that the answer to world peace is butterscotch lollies.
I think that overall today has been very pleasing, I seem to have some nice people around me, and that makes me all happy and seeing the world as a wonderful place again.
And I'm cooking some kick arse roast chicken right now, and my house smells delicious.
