there's no need to run around
I'm feeling a whole heap better today. I felt Death have his grip on me on Monday but I fought him off with about 30 million cups of tea and 45 boxes of tissues. Now my flu is merely a cough here and there and a stuffy nose every now and again.
I have conquered.
Hopefully this will make my two day stay in Launceston far more enjoyable. Have made plans to see Beck on Boxing Day but fear that being with her will make me want to stay longer. Must fight the temptation.
Today's to do list:
Get dressed and no longer feel like a lazy bum.
Clean, clean, clean.
Fill up car with petrol for tomorrow's long journey to the homeland.
Go see local council and ask when the garbage men are coming since I highly doubt they will come around on Christmas Day.
Possibly wish neighbours a Merry Christmas but must deny offer to stay for a cup of tea.
Wait for Scott to come home from work.
Unwrap presents.
Silently express disgust at present.
Cook dinner.
Eat.
Pack.
Sleep.
Such a huge day ahead. Merry Christmas everyone!
