Whoa, I just found out that Hobart has no November public holidays.

As someone who has grown up in Launceston and has always had the first Monday off in November because of Recreation Day I see this as outrageous.

I just assumed that there would be some kind of holiday down here to even it up, but no. Nothing.

I am in shock.

Also have had a fairly crappy day, but I began reading a really great book today and am looking forward to going to bed and reading it.
