in fact it's cold as hell

Whoo! Dream Job called me this afternoon, I have an interview with them on Tuesday at 8:30am.

I hate knowing that I'll be the first one they see for the day, but at least I'll be able to get a park.

Orientation yesterday was fucking insane. So many rules, so many different codes to remember. All too much. And then once I got home a little after 6pm last night Tara called and asked me to work today from 8:30am til 1pm.

Bloody hell.

But Scott was such a lovely boy last night, as soon as we got home he made me a foot bath and cooked a great dinner.

So yes, worked today. Feeling some pressure. Apparently the manager is a real hard arse and I am supposadly not to "take anything she says to heart". I'll be working with her on Saturday.

But yes. My friend that I made yesterday came in to do her 4 hours as I was finishing mine. I'd just sold an engagement ring to a young man who is proposing to his girlfriend tonight and was gushing all over the place.

So sweet.

It's times like that when I love this job.

But I still hate it 70% of the time. I just hope that I get a different job before all the Christmas rush starts.

The lady who ran the orientation came into the store today and had a small chat with me. It took all my will power to not laugh in her face when she asked if I was looking to stay on at Zamel's after my Christmas contract was up.

Heh...I shouldn't be so nasty, they could sue me one day.

I think that when I work on Monday I'm going to have to use my employee discount while I can and get some nice things for my Mum and Nan.

And see if they can take a link out of my watch. For free.

Hurrah for Dream Job!
